Can't Skate Can't Play Kim Muir was an incredible skater while competing in
Trenton and now runs Power Skating camps & clinics throughout the area
(including at Trenton).
Mitch Korn Goaltender School THA has been fortunate to get Mitch Korn to
presented his goaltending school here for a great many years. Players from
THA who wish to attend the Mitch Korn Goaltender School held in Trenton must
register through THA. The registration form and directions for applying are
available on THA's Goalie Corner.
Turcotte Stickhandling Schools Real Turcotte was the founder of this Hockey
School and his entire family continues to present classes all over the US and
Canada (including the Detroit & Downriver area). Real developed his system
and has applied it to youth hockey, Juniors and at the NHL. Has testimonials
from Detroit area NHL players including Mike Modano and Derian Hatcher. A lot
of other NHL players have been through his system. Real was also the author
of the (now out of print) Search For the Lost Art of Stickhandling and, more
recently, has produced a 2 DVD set titled Stickhandling Your Way To Success.
Stickhandling.com and skinnerhockey.com Turcotte's chief competitor and/or
colleague is Sean Skinner. Sean has produced a 5 DVD set titled
Stickhandling Beyond Belief! And he certainly does. Sean also provides skating
instruction and other services.
flexxCOACH.com Maker of several software items, including the flexxCoach
Practice Planner, which animates drills and plays on a computer. Either to
present ideas for the coach or to demonstrate them to players while 'off-ice'.
KC Sports, LLC Kevin Constantine, a former NHL coach who took a bunch of
nobodies and knocked off the Red Wings in the first round, has produced CD's
tailored to specific hockey issues. Great for focusing in on specific problems or
weaknesses.
