Trenton Hockey News
Former THA player Lee Norwood is now the Head-coach and General Manager
for Eastern Michigan University's hockey team.
For those of you who don't know, EMU has been a great opportunity for a lot of
former THA players over the years. And now we've got one of our own at it's helm.
Lee, who managed to play a little hockey after leaving THA (with the
QMJHL's Hull Olympiques, OHL Oshawa Generals, the NHL's Quebec
Nordiques, Washington, St. Louis, of course the Red Wings, New Jersey,
Hartford, Calgary and even played some in the Colonial HL) had a few comments
for us, "The Trenton Hockey Association is a great group and I owe a great deal
of thanks to the many people who helped me along the way. A lot of kids don't
realize that there is good hockey to be played at the college level even if they don't
get a Division 1 scholarship. The CSCHL and the ACHA have developed into a
very competitive group. So keep your eyes open for young student athletes
looking for an opportunity to compete at a high level while they get an education
and send them my way please."
Compliments of: Keith Kloock, THA - ACE Director
